Capelli’s barbershop caters to groomsmen before the big day

Hair, nails, massage – why do bridesmaids get to have all the fun? While most men I know wouldn't be caught dead in a beauty salon as a part of a pre-wedding groomsmen get-together, spending a few hours at the barbershop is an entirely different story – especially if it's a place with leather furniture and a big-screen TV. So when I heard about a local barbershop that offers custom packages for groomsmen, I thought, "What a cool idea."

Here's how it works: While the gals are out getting pedicures, the guys can head to downtown's Capelli's Gentlemen's Barbershop – a full-service men's grooming retreat. The Signature Special groomsmen package makes a great groomsmen gift, or just an opportunity for a bit of male bonding. For $45 per person, it includes a hair consultation, scalp massage, precision haircut, style and hot-towel neck shave. Add a "MANicure" to the package for an extra $10.
